कुरुक्षेत्र का महान युद्ध आरंभ होने ही वाला था। अर्जुन ने जब युद्धभूमि में अपने ही संबंधियों, गुरुओं और प्रियजनों को दोनों पक्षों में खड़ा देखा, तो वे शोक और संशय से भर गए। उन्होंने अपना धनुष नीचे कर दिया और युद्ध के धर्म पर प्रश्न उठाया। तब उनके सारथी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने उन्हें भगवद्गीता का दिव्य ज्ञान दिया। श्रीकृष्ण ने अर्जुन को कर्तव्य, धर्म, निष्काम कर्म, भक्ति और आत्मा की शाश्वत प्रकृति का उपदेश दिया। इस ज्ञान से अर्जुन को अपने धर्म का पालन करने के लिए साहस और स्पष्टता मिली।
What Happened in This Scene?
As the great war of Kurukshetra was about to begin, Arjuna looked across the battlefield and saw his own relatives, teachers, and loved ones standing on both sides. Overcome with sorrow and doubt, he lowered his bow and questioned whether fighting was right. Lord Krishna, serving as Arjuna’s charioteer, guided him with the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. He taught Arjuna about duty, righteousness, selfless action, devotion, and the eternal nature of the soul, giving him the courage and clarity to follow his dharma.
