What Happened in This Scene?
Duryodhana invited the Pandavas to Hastinapur for a royal game of dice. Shakuni, playing on Duryodhana’s behalf, used his skill and deceit to defeat Yudhishthira again and again. Bound by the rules of the game and his sense of duty, Yudhishthira kept wagering his wealth, kingdom, brothers, himself, and finally Draupadi. This disastrous game became one of the darkest turning points of the Mahabharat and pushed the Kuru family closer to war.
